If you've ever tried creating Flash animations with a (very
expensive) tool like Macromedia Flash MX, you know how difficult it can be to
create even the simplest effects. Steep learning curve to say the least.
KoolMoves takes hundreds of the most obvious twirls, fades, zooms, and other
animation effects and packages them in a (relatively) easy-to-use program that
lets you spit out animated headlines in no time.
Of course it will do much more. You can create some pretty impressive animated
Flash "movies", and entire websites. There is extensive documentation too. The
free (evaluation) version is plenty powerful enough to get you started with
quite a wide selection of special effects. When you're ready to upgrade to the
registered version, it only costs $39 (fall/2004).
I use KoolMoves, and think it's an awesome bargain.
